How To Root Micromax A52

Prerequisites

1.) Enable USB Debugging on your device. Go to settings and search for USB Debugging option over there and enable it.

2.) Fully charge your mobile. Because if your device will shutdown in between the process while rooting, it can brick your device. So always be safe and fully charge your device first.

Requirements To Root Micromax A52.

1) A52 root package

2) Sp Flash Tool

3) Drivers

4) Unlock Root

Steps To Flash Unsecured Boot.img

The first thing you need to do to Root Micromax A52, is to flash an unsecured boot.img. The stock boot.img of Micromax A52 is locked or we can say secured. So first flash unsecured boot.img and then you can root it.

1.) First you need to download Drivers from above and install them on your PC.

2.) Now download Sp-Flash Tool from above. Extract Sp-Flash Tool in a folder and open Flash_Tool.exe.

3.) Now when Flash Tool will be opened, just click on Options at top and then select USB Mode.

4.) Now again go to the options and then in DA download All and then select Disable DA download All.

5.) Now download A52 Root package from above. Extract it in a folder. After extracting you will get two files.

6.) Now from the SP-Flash Tool click on File and then select Open Scatter-loading file. Now choose the MT6575_Android_scatter that you have extracted in previous step. After you will select that you will see something like the below image.

7.) When I selected the scatter file then boot.img is automatically loaded in BOOTIMG. If its doesn’t load for you automatically then just just check the BOOTIMG and then click on BOOTIMG. It will ask you to browse the new boot.img. Just select the boot.img from the same folder in which scatter file was present. After doing all this the SP-Flash Tool will look like above image.

8.) Remove the battery from the phone. Wait for 10 sec and then re-insert the battery into the phone but don’t turn on the phone.

9.) Now Click Download or press f9 button on your keyboard.

10.) When Countdown will be start, be fast to connect USB first to PC and then to your mobile. Keep in mind your mobile must be switched off.

11.) Now the flashing process will start and when the yellow progress bar will show complete, a popup with green image will appear on screen.

12.) Congratulation! you have successfully flashed the unsecured boot.img.
